Bohemians, the League of Ireland Premier Division side, have launched a shirt featuring Oasis's logo, just days before the band's first gig in 16 years. The design, which features the traditional blue tones of Dublin City, is a collaboration between the club and the band. Bohemians will receive half of the proceeds from shirt sales, with the rest being split between Music Generation Ireland, a charity helping disadvantaged children access music, and Irish Community Care Manchester. The launch was marked with a video featuring Paul Weller, who has played with Noel Gallagher in the past, alongside Bohemians player Jordan Flores and former player Paddy Kirk. The shirt is available to buy online, with prices starting at 75 euros for adults and 35 euros for children. Daniel Lambert, Bohemians Chief Operating Officer, thanked Noel and Liam Gallagher for their support, saying the partnership was the result of 'lots of work' over the past six months. The shirt is manufactured by O'Neill's Sportswear Ireland and designed in-house by Bohemians in collaboration with Oasis. The band's tour starts at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4, with two shows in Ireland in August taking place at Croke Park, less than a mile from Bohemians' home ground. Liam and Noel Gallagher have repeatedly acknowledged their Irish roots throughout their career, with their parents being Irish immigrants who moved to England. The brothers' music has been influenced by their Irish heritage, with Noel saying 'there's a rebellious nature to Definitely Maybe, and there's a defiance to it. And there's a defiance and a rebellious nature to the Irish'. The partnership between Bohemians and Oasis is a unique one, with the club and the band working together to create a special shirt that will support worthy causes. The shirt is a must-have for any Bohemians or Oasis fan, with its unique design and charitable purpose. The launch of the shirt has been a success, with fans eager to get their hands on the limited-edition jersey. The partnership between Bohemians and Oasis is a great example of how football and music can come together to support good causes.
