Bohemians have warned their fans of an 'absolute travesty' of a partial ground closure in their final season at Dalymount Park. Ahead of tonight's game against Dundalk, the club wrote to their supporters, informing them of a suspended punishment meted out by the FAI.

What happened?

The club has received a sanction from the FAI of a suspended partial closure of the Jodi Stand as a result of repeated incidents at home games this season. These incidents include pitch incursions and threatening and abusive behaviour towards opposition players and officials.

Why it matters for Bohemians

The club has taken action, with a number of identified individuals issued with stadium bans. However, the club is on its final warning from the league, and a partial ground closure would be a significant blow to the team's final season at Dalymount Park.

What comes next?

With a long-waited return of European football to Dalymount Park on the horizon, the club must remind supporters of the severe UEFA fines and penalties they would face should such behaviour occur during European fixtures. The current league standing is: | Stat | Value | | --- | --- | | League standing | 4th in Premier Division | | Points | 54 | | Record | 16W-6D-14L from 36 games | | Recent form | WLDLL | The club is 12 points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers, and their last result was a 4-1 win against Drogheda United on November 1, 2025. Goals this season: 48 scored, 39 conceded (+9 goal difference). The team is on a 2-game winning run, with 2W-1D-2L in their last 5 games. As the season progresses, the club will need to ensure that their fans behave in a way that does not jeopardize their final season at Dalymount Park.
