Bohemians are third in the Premier Division with 44 points from 27 games, recent form LDWWW. They have scored 42 goals and conceded 31 this season, with a +11 goal difference. The title race is 10 points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers. In their last result, Bohemians defeated Longford Town 4-0 on August 16. Next fixture is against Derry City at home on August 21. Bohemians' interim manager Mark Connolly is expecting a tough test against Derry City, who are 6th in the table. Connolly stated, 'There have been a lot of ding-dong battles against Bohemians, and I've played in a few of them. I think it's going to be another great one on Friday night, and going there is never an easy game, and as I said, there's been a few ding-dong matches, and we've won quite a few of them.' Derry City have won their last two games in a row, and Connolly hopes that run can continue against Bohemians. 'Listen, winning becomes a habit if you keep doing it and you want to do that no matter who you're playing,' he added. 'We won brilliantly against Sligo, we didn't play so well against UCD, ended up getting a result, so now it's about kicking on and keeping trying to get results as much as we can from now until the end of the season.'
